Summary

Some people dream of America. My family dreams of Spain, the only country that didn’t arrest its Jewish citizens during the War.
The film is a fantasy about Spain as imagined in an Ashkenazi Jewish family, which mixes, in a burlesque narrative way, matzoh and corrida, gefillte fische and padlocked squid. We're not looking for family roots like many others do. We've left Poland and its holocaust for good. Life is ahead...
