It has now been irrevocably decided: the family house must be sold.
For months, the old castle, full of history and ghosts, is slowly being emptied of its guts.
The new owners, local businessmen, plan to transform the edifice into a four stars hotel where jacuzzis would be imposingly seated in the heart of the old towers.
While sharing out the furnitures and preparing the sale, the tongues are loosened.
As the family members try to manage this tedious task efficently, the movie camera takes us into a sensorial trip through the past.
